No accidents: this is the objective that SEAT has set for the car of the future. Henrico Puttenstein, one of the engineers in the SEAT Technical Centre’s Department of Passive Safety talks about the goals and progress that they are making. The tests that they have done so far show that serious accident risk has been reduced by 20% serious risk of accidents.
Puttenstein maintains that since the invention of the safety belt in the 70’s there have been some incredible advances made in this field. A job with such evident responsibility means they are totally committed and motivated to fulfil their final great objective: design a car which will never have an accident.
