The final races in the SEAT Leon Eurocup at the Circuit of Catalunya in Barcelona will be on the 31st of October and 1st of November. They are set to be the most exciting races of the whole series. Not only due to the fact that it’s the last race in the season, but also because the winner of the series is yet to be decided.
The previous races at Monza saw Stian Paulsen and Pol Rosell finish level at the top of the table for the first time in the whole season. They have undoubtedly maintained a strong momentum throughout and have consistently been favourites to win, with stellar performances on almost every racing track they have visited over the last six months. However, since the beginning they have been difficult to separate and it would be nearly impossible to predict which one will come out victorious.
This season has been full of energetic performances from all the Eurocup drivers since the very beginning at Paul Ricard in France with Spaniards Fran Rueda and Mikel Azcona battling for pole position to the last race at Monza in Italy.
Lucile Cypriano will finish at the top of the table in the Lady’s Trophy after maintaining a consistent and comfortable lead over the whole series. She has finished on the podium an impressive number of times and has proved that great racing is not just about testosterone but also adrenaline and impressive skill.
The last months have seen us race across Europe in one of the most exciting series yet. It's sure that things will not end on a quiet note with an intense battle for pole position undoubtedly awaiting us in Barcelona. This is definitely a weekend not to be missed.
