CASA SEAT digital activities.

CASA SEAT has developed a program of digital experiences through its website to invite citizens to discover the type of content that the space will offer once it opens its doors. This space has been created with the aim of paying tribute to Barcelona, the city that saw the birth of SEAT almost 70 years ago and with the commitment to offer innovative and relevant content proposals that enable it to face the social and the mobility challenges of the future.

On Thursday, April 30th, John Moavenzadeh, Executive Director of Urban Mobility at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), will be in charge of opening the line of conferences offering an open talk on the impact of COVID-19 in the future of global mobility. Additionally, Alejandro Vesga, editor in chief of Emprendedores magazine, will have a conversation on May 5th with entrepreneurs and venture builders about the paths to launch entrepreneurial projects at the current situation.

CASA SEAT offers on its website a calendar of online activities.

“Barcelona is our home and we want to maintain our commitment to citizens even in exceptional situations such as the one we are experiencing. Until it can officially open its doors, CASA SEAT will offer a calendar of digital content dedicated to mobility and urban culture with the aim of starting the debate on the challenges and solutions of the future,” said Gabriele Palma, director of CASA SEAT.

Regarding urban culture, singer Jorge Drexler will offer a virtual performance after which he will dialogue with Núria Soler, co-founder of Womanthon and expert in leadership, about the importance of leading movements that can change and motivate people from emotions and creativity. On the other hand, four renowned futurists and experts in urban cultures, mobility and artificial intelligence such as Lis Rosselló (Postfuturear), Alfons Cornella (Institute of Next), Javier Creus (Ideas for Change) and Ramón López de Mantarás (AI expert and Member Scientist of CSIC), will offer their ideas about the possible scenarios after COVID-19.
